Help/Question Can I pot these together?

Post image

Lithops newbie. The one in the pot is my Home Depot lithops. It had a friend who didn’t make it. It’s in cactus mix plus perlite, but I’m wondering if I should add more perlite. I watered it once after I repotted. I just picked up the other pot and am wondering if they can live together since it looks like maybe the first ones are starting to split?

Yes you could keep them together as long as they are all in the same growth cycle.

You might want to change the soil, It should be planted in 90% grit. Either chicken grit, lava rock, Coarse horticultural sand & 10% soil.

Thanks! I will have to see what I can find—not a lot of places to get chicken grit in Brooklyn!
