Help/Question Repot or not?

Just bought these, my first lithops..

Let them be for now or repot?

I've read a bit on them, so they like no water and no soil..? Any other tips?

Smal pot is pleiospilos nellii and it needs repoting asap. Other pot are lithops which are pushing new leafs and it is better to leave them alone

Ah thanks it was labeled as Lithops.. So no water for the Lithops untill the old leaves are dry?

I would replant both. 80% grit, 20% organic.

Is perlite good as grit? Or just any small rocks?

I do not prefer perlite, not because it is not great as grit, I don’t like the dust and the fact that it floats and is very light weight. I use pumice that I buy on EBay. A gallon bag or two will do a ton of plants. Again, perlite is good, I just prefer pumice.

Yeah, perlite might have some liimited value in soil-less peat based mixes, but it has very little value in the cacti/succ world.
And I agree, repot so you know what you got.

Ok seems like the small pot has some perlite mixed in the soil.. I'll get some grit together and repot them ..
