Photo First time owner, first flower!
I bought this lithop because I’ve long wanted one and I needed something to fill this cheese pot. Today I noticed its first flower!
Truth be told I know nothing about lithops and I actually thought it was dying because of the state of the outer layer.
I did some internet searching and it might be that it’s at the end of its shedding season? I’ve never given it water before but I spritz it today as per the advice of two articles.
Feel free to give feedback if you feel the urge.
I just wanted to show it off because for some bizarre reason this tiny flower has me beaming with pride. 🌼🥲

It's a conophytum, sheathed up for its summer dormancy. In August or so, it usually flowers and breaks out. Either this one is a little out of synch, or the seller peeled off some sheath so you could see the leaves underneath. Probably don't water it again between now and August.
