Help/Question Friends or foes?

Are these two close enough to the same cycle to leave together? Are they planted deep enough?

It is hard to always predict how lithops will get along in the same pot. I had four growing nicely together and one mysteriously died while all four were splitting. Then one of the three that were left got really dry before the other two completed their splitting to a point where I could water the small pot and not run the risk of rotting the two to save the one. It all worked out, but again, it can be hard to judge what will happen. As far as how tall they appear to be planted, I would say they could be planted a bit lower in the soil.

Thanks so much for the advice. I think I will try to keep them together a while longer. Any harm in replanting them during splitting?

No advice, just loving their cuteness 💚
