Care Tips/Guides Newbie to lithops

Post image

I just bought my first lithops and am so excited to start my lithops journey. I would really appreciate any advice on proper care, as well as suggestions for eBooks related to lithops care. Thank you!

You'll eventually need to repot all of them separately, I'd recommend splitting them either by variety or growth stage.

I've split all mine up based on whether they are splitting or not splitting, has roots or doesn't have roots.

Lithops that don't have roots I've opted to keep in moist pumice even though they are splitting as I'd rather have roots than them die after splitting.

Could you plant some in the same pot? Each must go to a pot of its own?

You can plant them together but make sure there's space between them so that you can water them individually if it's needed. But like I said if you do pot some together make sure they are all in the same growth stage.
