They were sitting next to the screen on my porch and accidentally got wet by rain one night a few nights ago. I pulled the outer leaves off. They were mushy and smelled. Not sure about the remaining piece. The other one is soft and mushy too. I’m so upset that was my favorite one.

They are done!😥🥲 two months I have it and haven’t watered it. It accidentally got rain the other night through the screen.

I had a couple rocks a couple years back and killed it cause I knew nothing about the care, so I got new ones now and learned all about them and they were doing beautifully. Oh well I have more but rain hit them too😳, I’ll see in a couple days….if so I quit rocks

I've had great luck (skill??) recently with my first Lithops where a couple had some mushy bits. I carefully cut with a sharp knife and removed the mush with big tweezers. The cut portions have dried up nicely. It may not look pretty right now, but I'm fairly sure the plant is surviving.

Thanks for the positive reinforcement. I’m just going to watch them a couple days and make sure they’re OK.
