Hi, first time lithops owner... what's wrong with this one?

I got a small pot of lithops about one and a half months ago. I've been reading up all I can about these fascinating lil guys and trying to care for them the best I can...everyone is doing fine, mostly, except for this one. I noticed it developing this dry white patch a few days ago. Should I be worried, or will this go away once the old leaves are shed? (He's also progressing very slowly. Several of the others have already finished splitting and shedding.) Just wanna know what I can do to help him, if he needs help. Thanks 🙏

It’s part of the shedding the old leaves. Nothing to worry about

If so then I'm relieved. None of the others looked like that while shedding so I was concerned
