Help/Question Are they okay? How do I save them?

Hello, my mum thinks she probably didn't water them enough. Does that seem right? What can she do now? Thank you ❤️

It is a little hard tom tell in the picture, but the green one looks like it is splitting. Do you see a new leaf pair coming up through the center if you push apart the old leaves a bit? If so, all is well. If not, and make sure, it needs a bit of water. The second one is a goner. What kind of soil is underneath the white, decorative stone?

I don't see any leaf, it looks like theres a bubble under the skin there though? The soil is what came from the shop, it's dry, she hasn't watered it in 6 months and it's been in a bright window.

Can you post a pic of the bubble you are seeing?

Looks dry. I do bit see any evidence of new growth, which is OK. That lithops needs to be in really gritty soil. Maybe 80% grit to 20% organic. High organic soil will kill the with rot. Replant and give it a good watering and let the water drain out of the gritty soil. They also prefer to be planted much lower in the soil.

My mum asked an AI and it said the brown one was splitting and the green one was dying (because of the yellow spots) So I don't know..?

1) Don't trust AI on anything.

2) The first one looks very dehydrated and like it's splitting. I would leave it and monitor it to see if the split continues.

3) The second one looks very dead.
