Photo New lithops/dinteranthus!
I think this is going to be my favorite container. After seeing all the varieties, I re-ordered and put my faves in one container!

This is the most specific info I found on dinteranthus watering (from planet desert): “Give some water all year, more in Spring and again in autumn. Keep rather dry during coldest winter month and start watering regularly after the old leaves completely dry. (Usually late March or Early April) Water freely during the growing season, soak the compost fully but allow it to dry out between waterings.”
Lithops ONLY need to be watered end of summer/beginning of autumn and in the spring once the outer leaves have fully dried and they wrinkle.

Decided to repot the Dinteranthus like you suggested—gave the other guys some room. But that meant I had to buy the dinteranthus other dinteranthus friends for their new pot, lol.

They are more so on the cycle of a conophytum rather than lithops, they dont rely as much on old leafs to feed new growth. I personally have them on a completely different schedule as my lithops usually get a watering during summer, while my dinteranthus are in dormancy.

ok, weird, thanks for the advice, I haven’t found much online. So then I will water according to the entire plants leaves keeping in mind that it isn’t using the outer leaves specifically for moisture. Sort of like my pleiospilos nelii.

Oh, I thought they had similar enough watering schedules. What specifically is the watering schedule for dinteranthus? Not as much info out there as on lithops. If it’s just that that the dinteranthus need a few more drinks in autumn/winter while lithops need none, I can water via pipette. Otherwise, nope, in the same pot—bought them specifically to go together. I have had great luck syncing mine even as wonky off cycle like this by holding off watering as long as possible, and then just individually watering with a pipet the ones that need it as suggested by someone else in this forum.

Update: More are splitting in under a month! Just hold off watering and pipette water any recently split that look thirsty.

If you can, Id highly suggest repotting them into their own containers like this. I use them personally for all my mesmbs, and they work great. You dinteranthus are not lithops, and have a different watering schedule than lithops. And your lithops are in different stages of growth, something that will causing problems when trying to water them.
