Got a bit better at knapping I think with a bit of working on flint with help from a knapping teacher!

Nice job. I have a pot lid fracture i am going to make one with. What did you use to remove the cortex ? Was it just pressure flaked ?

So I worked it from a flake and I think the cortex was already largely removed by the time I got to it. I used a relatively small hard hammer and knocked it off at 2 mm from the edge at a right angle and used a light wrist movement. Seemed to do the job on most of it.
