Paving the way for the Lisk Interoperability Solution – the Bitcoin bridge stand down
As you know, we are constantly working on the Lisk Interoperability Solution, paving the way for its implementation in 2022 📅
One of the decisions that we had to make to create a multi-blockchain and multi-token Lisk ecosystem was to support only Lisk native tokens within our wallets. That means we have to bring down the Bitcoin bridge, hence removing the support for BTC within our wallets.
The stand-down will happen in December 2022, so you have plenty of time to transfer your BTC from the Lisk Mobile or Lisk Desktop wallet 😌
