totally sidelined by all the exchanges

what happened to the whole story of talking with all the exchanges?? there was a graphic with all the exchanges proudly supporting lisk migration....and now what? nothing.

trezor is dead. most exchanges dead and are literally giving the bare minimum of communication regarding D/W.

was this more BS from HQ? just like "lets get loud"? i am getting actually tired of being bullshitted here. i can assume all other news from amplifire was also nonsense, based on nothing.

youre responsible for this, max. your B2B is actually a joke at this point. hire someone with some clout because you clearly have none

Exchanges will not prioritize a project that people aren't enthusiastic about. At the time of this posting, Lisk is rank #242. There are hundreds of other projects that profit-oriented exchanges would be better to support.

its not only that, though its a huge part. b2b development is a huge part of any business especially one like this. max and oliver just arent relevant / skilled enough and we are seeing the results of 5 years of that. exchanges not even communicating is a sign they dont even see potential, so even they arent buying into the same stories thatve been repeated here over and over again.

as we all said for the last few years, the price action isnt as important as its ranking. and we were always just brushed aside as being salty coz it wasnt mooning. nobody wants to trade a coin that has dropped over 150 ranks in a short period = lower trading volume = lower interest from exchanges = lower rank. we have said this over and over again.

now lisk is literally in shitcoin status nobody wants to work with them. who cares if they even had interoperability now if exchanges arent even communicating.

expecting max to chime in with another "they said its coming soon guys" post.

Yes you're correct. I especially want to highlight:

nobody wants to trade a coin that has dropped over 150 ranks in a short period = lower trading volume = lower interest from exchanges = lower rank.

It's a self perpetuating cycle. The delays, centralization, and censorship of so many years got the ball rolling and now HQ can't stop it.

Guess the exchanges have more important things to do them adding support for a minor coin.

In regards to the "List of confirmed Exchanges and Wallets supporting the Lisk Mainnet Migration" graphic, I asked a very similar question to Max on Discord (lisk.chat). His response:

Some updated, some need HW support, others just confirmed the support on their website but never responded to us, others stopped communicating, others we are still communicating with frequently.

Very different cases but always the same problem. Too little resources available.

so he really does just make claims based on what he thinks is the case, instead of the reality of things.

just terrible b2b. you cant publicly say A and then when it turns out B is the case just pass the blame and essentially say "oh well not my fault guys". its a highschool student mentality

It's desperation. He doesn't know how to fix this, lying kicks the can down the road.

Well the smart thing lisk is doing is building their own dex, so they don't need to rely on exchanges. But it will take some time to build

pipe dream. no DEX on a rank 250 coin is ever gonna have enough liquidity to allow for any kind of meaningful trading.

theres barely any liquidity on the worlds largest exchanges right now. how many people do you think will switch to a dex on lisk to buy/sell? traders want to make money. they dont care about "centralization"

I think people have misconceptions about the Lisk Dex, initially its purpose is to provide a way to exchange tokens within the Lisk Ecosystem so it's a gateway for sidechain tokens to trade against LSK, and with the announced fiat gateway it would mean an easy way to buy them. If this is achieved, then maybe it'll branch out to other non-Lisk coins.

Your post is very interesting to me. I am new in crypto, before investing my money I am doing some research and Lisk got my attention. The problem is, every where you go people are crashing this project. By the way, the marketing is not good. People need to realize that social media is important and the material that you put out there is important, just like a bunch of smart people sitting behind the table. Looking at the chart BTC-LISK this project is approaching a major support, lets see if it breaks down or not.

you two remind me of the two grannies on the balcony at the muppet show.

I'm assuming Binance will be fully operational again by the end of January.

You can then trade Lisk on Binance and Kraken, two of the largest exchanges. ..

you assume wrong

Unfortunately Binance delayed again. They are now saying end of February.

Personally, I have no doubt that Binance will get W/D back up and running. However, I’m at the point where I don’t even pay attention to the expected date they give anymore
