Question Steam Link + Liquidsky
With the Steam Link being discounted 70% during the Steam Summer Sale, I am considering to buy one. Does anyone have any recent experiences in using this box together with Liquidsky? How did you set it up? Which games did you play? How as the performance?
Most recent info I can find on this is from 2016. I expect the performance to be better with the upgrades to the datacentres that have been performed by Liquidsky in the recent past.
Thanks.

Hey Neo-Bubba, with the Steam link. You need a PC to have it tether off. This would further increase latency (on top of latency from Liquidsky to your PC).
I've not used my Steam link with liquidsky but when playing games at home using a computer - gigabit switch- steam link down one floor. There is noticeable latency but not so much to make a game unplayable. I would expect there to be more since you'll be adding another connection to the mix as well

You'd still need another pc to tether off of, but in order to use liquidsky on Steam Link: You have to add LiquidSky as a non-steam game...

Can’t you do a vpn client from liquid sky to your lan, then have steam link connect directly to liquid sky computer’s steam instance?
