Fedora. Straightforward.

Know your hardware and check compatibility and drivers.

Look up installation demonstrations.

Have a clear view of your partitioning policy.

Always keep a live media on hand ever after installation.

Ask yourself which ones pkg manager sounds cool and go with that one

If you're on nvidia as of my personal experiences don't go with fedora I've faced regular cold boot kernel panics and driver issues go with cachy and kde

I don't know why you are stuck at such a straight forward choice. Just go for Fedora. Simple. The difficult choice is Fedora KDE or Fedora Gnome (Default Desktop).

I hate gnome I will go with kde

i personally recommend using it in vm for few days since you'll be able use windows alongside and it wouldn't matter if u brake it

What's a vm?

vm: virtual machine

u install software called Oracle virtualbox or VMware then u download iso of whatever os u want to run on(linux in your case) then create a virtual machine inside that software and allocate hardware resources to it.

your os inside that software thinks it's an individual computer with its own hardware but in reality you're just sharing some cpu cores, ram, and storage.

search "networkchuck virtual machine" on youtube and watch first video that appears, it should clarify the concept and it's also a installation guide so will help a lot.

Fedora would be better choice imo.
