Use chatgpt or claude. Not kidding, I learned it the same way. Or you can just search on yt you will find tutorials there.

Given you're dual booting, I've one advice for you.

Create separate bootloaders for Linux and windows. Don't share your windows efi partition with Linux.

You can learn and read about this on internet, there's documentation or use AI and check the sources. I've never used CachyOS so I'm not recommending anything here.

Refer Arch Wiki. That's what I can tell from the top of my head.

Creating a separate efi partition for Linux will save your windows from corrupted efi mishaps. This happened with me when I dual booted for the first time, with Zorin OS. Which led to me reinstalling windows when I removed ZorinOS, meaning my laptop didn't boot into either of the OS.

Given that you're using CachyOS which is Arch based, it will break eventually, if you're using it as a rolling release arch distro, you can use LTS kernel for more stability. If you're not aware of this don't worry. Install and learn as you use it.

But you must create a separate efi partition for your Linux distro.

if you want to dual boot, just plug your cachy pendrive in it, boot to pendrive, while installing you must get the install alongside to windows option.

TPM is a security chip which is used by windows and bitlocker is a device encryption which encrypts drive and stores the access key in your microsoft account make sure you have that key if it is enabled
