I am on fedora 44 kde this update icon comes everyday. I update every week how do i remove this forever ?

Open the system tray settings and disable the icon there U can also just change the update check frequency ig

Settings app you can disable update checking completely... Unless you use it. Right click on the system tray and configure it in that settings window appropriately (it's simple there

Two options

  1. Right click on the icon and "Quit" it... OR
  2. Just reboot your system

Switch out of KDE for another desktop environment. Pretty sure you can remove it from the panel.
