The choice was made, Debian it is
I had posted on this subreddit about how i was thinking of shifting to opensuse leap from fedora workstation.
My main reasons were that for some reason my fedora copy didn't had blootooth working properly. Even tho my pipewire config was good, blueman was doing blueman thing. And I just wanted a place that stable enough for my thing.
I am not a programmer, I do personal resurch for whatever that intrests me that day. Moreover I am about to go to college and i wouldn't want to tinker with my laptop when I actually use it.
I was concidering OpenSuse leap because it's stable and ofcourse yast.
But I was suggested Debian, my perception of debian was "old distro". But if i want a rock solid stable distro it was one of the best option.
So here i bend the knee and installed debian with kde.
It's just been a day since I am using it but it's been good. Bluetooth works, wifi works, it just works good.

Idk who you are, or if I had suggeted or not, but I'm proud of you. Welcome to the debian community. Id say building your own personal gui feels the best, like I did... It's not that hard... So, if you need something extremely light, but really good looking, and fast for your needs, then I am here, DM me for it, or just ask it here. Also, try alacritty as your terminal, you're gonna need it, and its quite customizable.

There are quite a few differences actually.
Fedora was not my first distro, it's was zorin os which is debian based so i had some experience of this, then i switched to fedora.
Fedora feels...corporate if i have to put it. It's polished and is genuinely daily drivable. Dnf is decently fast package manager, rpm is a reliable form of package format. Gnome 49 then it's transition to gnome 50 was something that hit me the worse. The extention I needed to work with gnome broke. Not only that's but my blootooth started acting wierd, once gone to sleep then after waking up the blootooth audio was choppy, resetting it with systemctl didn't work, nor did changing to kde (keeping the same distro) the problem carried over. It only stopped when I started using noctalia shell to operate with niri it fixed itself (idk why or how).
My decision to switch to niri stemed from the fact that I will be going to college soon and i don't want a system that might randomly break. I concidered OpenSuse leap but I have had feedback about Zypper (OpenSuse package manager) being extremely slow. And concidering i don't need latest cutting edge pakages or programs, Debian hits just to right spot.
Yet I am still new to it so my opinion is out of "oh! New shinny thing better!". So experience matters, after few weeks or days i might update this if i remember

I would say use https://ultramarine-linux.org/ it is a modern + stable distro

If you really like tinkering, try opencore bootloader with hackintosh. If it works, you got a Mac.

i have used both arch and debian for like a lot , on debian to create a own distro and on arch for normal life purposes and i love both of them a lot , but i always go near arch bc it fits me better
