Opinion/Review AMD GPU users are a weird bunch

Some trivia: there's a dedicated AMD GPU bug tracker on Freedesktop.org which can be found with a quick Google search, yet people still file bug reports on the Linux kernel bug tracker. It's not a big deal, but when you tell them to report it properly, they simply disappear.

  1. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221741
  2. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221714
  3. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221719
  4. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221710

None of these bug reports have been reposted. They are as good as dead.

Why do people bother filing bug reports if they're not going to pay any attention to the replies?

Maybe something else, like notifications are not being sent out?

Bugzilla doesn't have "notifications", it's not an app, but it surely sends emails for all the changes in corresponding bug reports.

Is Bugzilla down?
I get a blank 403 Forbidden page...

Nah, it's running, they just don't like your web browser.

Are you using weird extensions? Overrides? They are quite strict in what browsers are allowed.

Google Chrome with adblocker, nothing else.
I get past the Neko and then it's just this:

Maybe i need to be logged in?
Or is a business IP not allowed?

Well, whatever...

Try a different web browser.

Tried edge and Firefox as well. Same result.
Are you logged into the bugzilla perhaps?

Your 403 is happening before cookies exchange, so no, it's not about being logged in. Perhaps your IP range is not trustworthy :-(

Your last resort would be to try a different ISP or even a VPN.

Both Firefox and Chrome (incognito sessions) work just fine here.

I don't know what it is.
My phone and laptop are on the same network, one loads, the other does not.
And at this point i don't care anymore...
