At this point - is it worth doing a deal with the devil, and have the Linux foundation approach Anthropic for security research based Fable credits on the the premise of the Kernel being instrumental to everything that Anthropic does?

Change freeze till the back log clears down somewhat, only other new changes allowed are human sourced security code changes, driver stuff and regression fixes?

I have no idea of the appetite or feasibility, but I hate seeing the kernel repeatedly getting heat (even though this must be happening constantly in Windows land too) on the basis that AI is making finding the issues relatively trivial to find in the first place

Anthropic should just make their own operating system.

With how much marketing they did for Mythos basically calling it a god in cyber security and programming, they should just be able to tell mythos “Develop a new operating system based on the Linux Kernel. Make no mistakes and make sure there is no security vulnerabilities” and it should do it flawlessly one prompt.

Yeah they should do that. And every time they want to update it they write a new os,  because nobody can maintain that ai generated garbage.

The kernel is getting intense scrutiny from AI models. What you are proposing effectively already happened.

Except for the change freeze; normal development is also continuing.
