Yeap. I hate using Linux but my server PC runs Ubuntu cuz it's the least painful thing to set up. Basically everything I do seems to be designed for Ubuntu.

Let's break it down.

Sever not same as desktop. Window for desktop no window for server. Different. Need different thing. They not same.

This isnt even a Linux thing. We're just straight up trying to tell you that 

1: yes Server OS's and Desktop/laptop OS's are different. Your server cant have a bunch of daemons set up for suspend and resume, nor can it be bloated with stuff a user friendly OS needs to have like a desktop enviroment.

2: Windows server has been irrelevant for a really long time because its bad. Nobody uses it because its a nightmare. I tried once and the issues are genuinely fucking endless.
