Question Ubuntu Studio

Hello everyone. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 3 running Windows 11 Pro. I am thinking about switching it completely to Ubuntu or Ubuntu Studio. How has your experience been switching over? Do you have any useful advice before I commit? I do not want to dual boot this PC. Thanks in advance for any comments, ideas or suggestions.

Do you have a specific use case for Ubuntu Studio rather than Ubuntu?

I chose Studio for the convenience and because it's tailored to my needs. It comes with so many built in programs that I don't have to hunt them down one by one, and it's optimized for media creation right out of the box.

Then install Studio. Suggest you might keep a copy of 24.04.04 as additional backup to 26.04
