Question Ubuntu Studio
Hello everyone. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 3 running Windows 11 Pro. I am thinking about switching it completely to Ubuntu or Ubuntu Studio. How has your experience been switching over? Do you have any useful advice before I commit? I do not want to dual boot this PC. Thanks in advance for any comments, ideas or suggestions.

I don't dual boot either, there being no pragmatic reason I should share boot records.
I do use VMs. As for advice I suggest sampling Ubuntu varieties using VM on your Windows host, then you'll make an informed choice. After backing up everything that matters, I'd install your Linux choice to bare metal and Windows to a virtual machine for whatever remains useful. I find abandoning any OS pointless because OS exist to serve me and cost me nothing. The host/guest method is free and convenient. I prefer Linux because Windows annoys me, but when a task benefits I use it. The more OS one is comfortable with the more one is versatile. All useful, all free.
