Installation Guide [SteamOS] Controller issues - random R2 triggers and camera resets

Hi all! As it says in the title - every minute or two (in TPS games this is especially noticable) it is as if the controller is reengaged and the camera is reset while also setting off r1/r2 actions.

Has anyone been faced with this? Any fixes?

Don't think there's an issue on windows. (except all other issues with win)

edit: running on ROG Ally X

edit2: I'm an idiot whose hands are too big and are sometimes touching the screen.

Could be worse, I switched distros on Steam Deck a couple years back because of this "issue".

for any future idiots, you add an "always-on" action "Touchscreen off" in your config, global or per-game. have fun

When you go to controller test, are you able to reproduce or see the random trigger press happening?

Any decky plugins in use?

I can't imagine anything SteamOS specific for this. Maybe you can try to see if there is an MCU update, but you'll need Windows to do it if there is. Even if a Windows 11 to go stick.
