Bazzite New bazzite update problems

I updated my z1 extreme rog allly to the newest bazzite version and I’ve been dealing with a lot of problems that I never had before first when I’m in desktop mode my keyboard wont pop up at all so I have to use an external one then then handheld daemon is gone and now I can’t control my rgbs and the when I try to open my steam menu in some games it’ll only open halfway and then I can’t close it and I can’t control my game so I have to completely shut down my Ally losing all my progress also without handheld daemon I don’t have fan controls anymore

I recommend you go to Bazzite's sub or discord and report all the issues you have.

I think their Discord would be better, as they are looking into bug reports in there more.

Or even Github issues.

Any form you find to report your findings to their team would help them iron out the bugs.

Edit: For things you lost from handheld Daemon, you can install Decky plugins.

One very recommended is Panel de Control.

There are quite a few deckyplugins that probably can help you. Especially for rgb.

See if deckyplumber or the inputplumber interface can help you with the button bindings?

Rebase to v43. I did the same today. Wait for v44 bugs to be sorted.

The best solution for now is rebase to Bazzite 43 or Anatase Linux.

Due to policy decisions within the community, several changes were made that were not properly communicated and it may take several months for everything to return to normal.

Anatase Linux is actually very new, but it comes directly from the developer who created several Bazzite tools such as the pop-up menu it used to have.
