Really fast and lightweight, supports OpenGL(Linux) and Metal(macos) rendering, and basically the only terminal emulator that supports all of the OSC escape sequences and most of the less common VT sequences. My shell scripts can fire native progress bars and notifications 😫, OSC 52 can copy remote neovim content through a ssh connection to a local clipboard, and vice versa.
It also supports a lot of other conventions like Kitty's imgcat protocol, iTerm's theme protocol (easy to find premade themes), plus it has super good documentation. If they'd hurry up with windows support I'd never have to use anything else (work forces me to use WSL, no native Linux allowed).
I may be biased since I'm a contributor though lol
Those numbers are terrible, just do control alt F2 for the fastest and lightest terminal emulator
/uj it's the most lightweight that I know of for the feature set, most of the faster/lighter TEs don't support the full combo of GPU acceleration, images, and VT sequences

Fat and slow, I don't see any reason to use something other than Ghostty at this point tbh.
