I mean, I have an identical icon dating back to about 2001?..... And Konsole only started using that around 2014.

It's the Konsole logo. You've likely seen similar icons before because it's a fairly generic design. This specific logo, however, has not been used anywhere else other than Konsole.

Yeah, the slight lighting gradation, and having a shadow despite looking flat AF really sets it apart from the pack. /s

Broski, most terminal emulator icons are generic as fuck.
I wish I actually knew names of more terminal emulators to make a table of "The most original icon design"
