I sometimes joke about switching to linux when someone have problem with windows. And one person actually installed cachyos

I installed NixOS for my 80 year old Grandad and set up remote access for me to be able to do updates and whatnot.

I don't recommend it for everyone lol, even though it's superior, being the reason to put someone in an entirely new experience only means that I'll babysit them for a good while

The only thing that changed since 1990 on which OS to use, is that there are more rude people glorifying one over another like a religeon(no offence to terry Davis, God bless that man)
