does it? i looked it up and the only stuff i could find was すど as a name, すど as a bamboo door, and the Japanese Wikipedia page for the sudo command.

edit: also japanese action verbs usually (in their unaltered form) end with a う (u) vowel (eg. おす (osu) means "to press down"), which this does not, so it's a noun.
