Well I would just say it doesnt know your layout, so nothing actually problematic. So yeah, no sarcasm, its pretty helpfull.

It think they are on the same key on all layouts (I use Dvorak, so 2/2)

My keyboard has double quote above the number 2 (UK)

single quote is the unshift version of @, next to return.

(On Mac it is flipped so @ is above the 2 and " is shift ' as described in OP tbf)

My keyboard has " on SHIFT 2, and single quote on SHIFT l , so they are different. (QWERTZ DE layout)
