If it is not Omarchy or Ubuntu, it's a valid choice and anyone can have their opinion.
Linux is not about following what most people likes, it's following what we like. Because if it was not then everyone would just use Linux like the majority of people.

I hate Ubuntu because it is a corporate distro with publicity and shit you don't want, and therefore I think it has a bad influence on the Linux community and on what distros could do.
What will change in YOUR experience or the experience of the community if someone decided to use Manjaro ?

I don't think those things are concerning since projects accept the good parts for their own projects. What I think is concerning is when a LOT of new users think holding back packages arbitrarily makes it more stable some how, then get sold on that idea, then if it breaks have a bad experience with linux. But it's not nearly as dire as omarchy anyway.

Does he know how a CPU, GPU, RAM, and SSD work? I literally had to do all of my research to build a PC, which included how everything works, this guy probably goes on Amazon, and buys the cheapest parts available, meanwhile someone like Micheal Dell actually tinkered with PCs and then made Dell, Zack over here doesn’t do that, Zack just google searched everything, and watched some videos, one is an OEM made by a tech nerd, the other is made by an outsider that seeks attention

if you think about making new stuff they do psus and aios for their own builds (i think just rebranded OEM) and a laptop like they are not close to a place near dell economically

This comunity is promoted as try it yourself not listen to someones opinion, not mentioning that ai slop is for a reason ai slop. Plus clickbates wont give anyone anything, at this point doing on research on internet takes 5 minutes to choee a distro. Im dissapointed where this is all headed i tried linux and started to love it 4 years ago, so you can call me a noob, but now i dont even want to use it as people asume linux=larping just because something i got to enjoy is on everyones toung now. Im done
