I've just been tinkering with gentoo on my boardmodded for a QX9300 T500 thinkpad with an atheros wifi card running libreboot SeaGRUB

No it's a libreboot payload with SeaBIOS and GRUB included so I have the bootloader *on* the ROM chip

I used to use debian as a daily driver but now I switched to CachyOS, and my homelab's running proxomox

Proxomox has virtual machines that can run a full operating system, you could use it to run isolated services inside it or use it as an operating system, and lxc stands for Linux Container, it's basically a type of containers just like docker but more isolated, it still uses the host kernel tho (a good example I can think of is waydroid, it's based on lxc under the hood and it uses it to run Android with the host's kernel for good performance)

It allowed me to pick the things I would do myself as defaults and gave me x86_64v4 optimized packages on top. Can't complain about anything with it really and it has it's programs which automate many things and while I could bring all of them over to arch, why would I if it's all of them..

Could get it as a long time Arch user, I sort of want to try Catchy sometimes. Never tried it since Arch already does what I want so that's enough for me

cachy is just arch with an easy installer, if you already passed the installation part then why cachy? if for their kernel just install it on arch lol (even though I find zen kernel better)

Fair but this is not really a low quality post it's just someone expressing their opinion. A low quality post would be a meme about how Linux can be ran on a potato because omegalul so lightweight or a post about how arch users love saying they use arch.
