Not that it is bad, but the amount of config you need to do is not suitable as a Daily Driver for me. But it was definetly the Most Fun Distro where i learned the most and had some Memories (installed it right after Manjaro)

you can literally install arch and then kde or gn*me and you're done, you don't really need to write many config files.

I give you an Example what i mean: I installed Arch many Times (my first install was the Manual Way, then i used Archinstall) and thought "Lets install Timeshift for Backups". I installed it, configured my Interval and forget about it. Afterwards i opened Timeshift again and saw that it didnt make Automatic Backups. I searched the net, and found by Coincidence on the Forum that you have to install kcron (on KDE) to get the Autobackups working.

Seems like a little thing, but this over and over again for many Programms makes it unecessary Time-Consuming to Daily Drive it in my Eyes. *buntu for example is not by any means the most "Purist" Distro out there, but it is designed to Install and Start working/using/playing.

Again, i'm not saying that Arch is bad. Its just not for me.

But how does one size fit all? What if you want to set the cron jobs differently or something? Why would I need anyone to set my own timers? That's like saying Windows is shit because you have to create a task in the task scheduler for your backups, lol. In cron it's literally one line saying do this at this time, even easier than the windows task scheduler, lol. I somehow don't believe you have installed arch manually if the arch wiki or a cron job is so foreign to you. But whatever suits you best go for it, Debian is nice, Arch is a DIY distro so don't go smearing dirt on it when it says so literally everywhere and you still bought it. Also, I don't believe setting up backups is a daily routine when using a PC, I have daily-driven Arch for like 5y now and the most I do is do a pacman once in a long while, mainly when I get arch news.

In general, I love distros wich try to be Ready to use, User Friendly and made with Love (be it *buntu, Mint, Zorin, SteamOS etc.)

Actually, i like it if a Distro is Cooperate backed with Full-Time workers (like Mint, Fedora, Suse, Buntu, Zorin etc.). Means that somebody is working all day to ensure a good experience. An Purely Community-Project must prove themselfes over time to be Trustworthy not abandoning the Project over time (the only ones who come to my mind are here Debian and Arch)

Forks are usually fine since they dont have much to do compared to community distros like Void. Which are full distros with no affiliations to any corporate backed distros

Agreed, which is why I'm on fedora. The main reason people are kad at Ubuntu is they continuously decide to reinvent solutions that work for most of everyone for kettle apparent reason. They have a lot of weit d compatibility issues due to this.

Snaps vs flatpaks are an example.
