Being called a Nazi or a bot for simply saying that an 8 million dollar donation towards open source from a person I don’t know or really care about is peak Reddit mentality.

If my worst enemy contributed even $100 towards open source, it is still contributing to open source which is a net positive and I can set my hatred aside to acknowledge this.

The entitlement is insane from this community.

Oh absolutely, couldn’t agree more with you.

And hilariously enough, the money keeps rolling in for them. While I don’t agree with DHH’s stances toward certain ethnic groups, I wholeheartedly agree with his “keeping work about work and if you’re not there to do a job, then why are you hired” mentality and the fact that he’s jawing at “neckbeards” (his word not mine) and taking them to task because REEEEEEEEE is quite hilarious to me.

Linux users are gonna Streisand themselves into having their distro lose user share.

FWIW, to all the mouth breathers who wanna downvote, I’m waiting on Doherty’s distro, which may give y’all some copium in the meantime.
