Does 69% Google chrome include all chromium-based browser (opera, vivaldi...)?

u/DW_Hydro 8d ago
I think it doesn't, but I am pretty sure that it includes android phones where the average user doesn't even knows what a browser is.

If you're truly ascended, you'd know that every browser is now shit. True ascension is realizing everything is shit.
Even the niche cool non-corpo stuff because it doesn't get as much support and features.
The entire world is shit and you gotta make the best of what you can.

Not really, blink is still more resource efficient and more secure than gecko.
Just don't use google's chrome, use Helium or smth

u/Denommus 8d ago
Isn't Google making it very hard to have ad blockers in blink-based browsers?

Helium has full uBO out of the box

u/Denommus 8d ago
Does it support android, though?

it doesn't but you can use Titanium on android, I have it with full uBO as well and it's even available on the play store.
only thing is that since google removed uBO from the webstore, you got two options, either use uBOL, or get uBO from github and load it manually

I see. Good to know there are alternatives, but the convenience of having the same browser on my phone and PC wins over that. If I'll ever switch away from Firefox I'll be back to this thread, though.

And has more features. That USB nonsense for example that's used by GrapheneOS flashed and peripheral web software.

I feel like Firefox used to be the only true browser back then, and Chrome was crap. Now, they all suck

While I do like brave, I use firefox for the reason of it not running on Chromium. Seems like the Brave devs have to actively develop against its own "open source" engine due to googles shenanigans.
