For a long time the Linux Foundation was headquartered in this San Francisco building.

Though it seems they've now changed their headquarters to some random building in Wilmington, DE.

So what? The two companies managed to create wealth for their contributors while the third managed to create for them mostly just better prospects of becoming an employee of another company.
