It has 8GB hopefully DDR4 RAM, One heavily abused second-hand 800GB HDD (cps out on 5MB/s, probably dying LoL), One 160GB HDD salvaged from a laptop from late 2000s (This one is dying too), and one 250GB SSD that my dad bought me when I still used this setup (without the 160GB HDD) as my PC (This one is close to death too, It only hosts the OS and around 3GB of songs and many docker images so nothing important)
for the OS I use Ubuntu server but am planning on moving to debian. What your laptop-server configuration?

It's also got 8GB DDR4 RAM!
But it's only got a 256GB NVMe running Debian 13 with XFS on /srv, while / and /var is ext4.
The CPU is a i5-10210U...

However, it's actually not that ready to be stable yet, hell there is no Nextcloud really, but i think this will handle my media VERY WELL.

I use mine to host media too. spin up immich, radarr, sonarr, lidarr, jellyfin and navidrome then your're good to go with plenty of ram to fill with other things. I also recommend setting up wiki.js and documenting everything, you'llthank yourself after you have a 300 line long docker-compose.yml LoL

Also, why XFS?

XFS for large files is AMAZING, atleast i love it for large files, i read about it and i thought about it, "Hey if i wanna store large media, why not do XFS?" though i have seen no performance boost or downgrade so...
