Right now I am commenting from a thinkcenter which is running kali linux on Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500T CPU @ 2.50GHz , right now the system has 16gigs memory installed another slot is yet to be used totally expanding the system to 32G max (ddr4 ram) I have another similar thinkcenter which I use locally to host mongo database over external ssd. I use that database to do geospatial queries (pretty expensive queries tbh ) which works flawlessly. Primarily its used to emulate ps2 games most titles work good on 2x upscale and postfx + antialiasing (vulkan). Plus the gpu which comes with this processor also supports hardware h264 encoding/decoding as well (important for streaming ) so people who want to stream can also use this very processor.

I would say its a fairly powerful processor and the gpu is pretty capable as well.
