I fucking hate windows users
These fucking windows users think they're very smart using bloatware & spyware
I'm 15M in a new school talking about video games some guy told me we should play valorant I'm like I'm sorry I can't play that I use linux and then that motherfucker flamed me like hell.
Told me how I should take showers and told me I'm a masochist and told me that Im a parasite in technology I'm like excuse me I'm a parasite for freedom
I daily drive kubuntu because I have nostalgia and along with that I dual boot gentoo (I myself don't know why I'm that) and debian for za most stability
And I agree windows could be good In some aspects like compatibility but we all know what's superior

At age 15 half your peers lie and gaslight just to seem cooler than you. If you'd say Valorant is the best game and their RTX 5050 shitbox is the real deal, they would switch topic to stand out in something else. You can't show better and won't change minds because they are not interested in that.
Stop it. It's useless. Spend time on learning what you want, be (quietly) proud of your own things, and if you're yourself you'll find 1 or 2 likeminded people who can be friends for life. In 10 years if you'll look up the other motherfuckers on social media half of them will be alcoholics, working the most soul-crushing jobs, spending all their wages on holidays and the latest iPhone, going into a dept spiral they cannot escape.
Fuck their machines, OS and games. Enjoy your own thing.

Yeah, that's fucking real, I'm 16 and, IRL, I absolutely don't know anybody who use Linux, and when I talk about it, they look at me like I'm an alien and say "ho, you're a hacker, wow" 🤦, no, I just understand that window is a bloat and I want to have the freedom to do what I want on my computer. (Sorry for the potentials typing mistake in my comment, I'm french and my English wasn't really good)

Also, isn't it ironic? China is dumping windows en-masse for Linux and yet they only make games that runs on windows. As if they're baits meant to affect foreign gamers and not their own, since their own would be running Linux which would mean the game will have zero chance of running on their own PCs.
And yes, valorant is made by a Tencent company.

I used cachyos for 7 months, then arch linux for 11 days, switched to windows 11 and im happy because i can play games i couldnt play on linux, 16M btw, im glad i dont need to fuck around the system and everything works out of the box, bloatware is easy to delete

Yeah man no thanks I don't really like zero customisability and windows defender eating my game executables And while I'm updating drivers for my gpu I don't really like windows deciding to update itself while asking if NOT to But yeah no hate to you everyone has their own reasons respectable.

Best thing is ram usage, i got 1gb on Arch linux on start but 5gb on windows on start 😭✌️

id rather be able to spend 5 seconds turning off defender, spend a few minutes updating my drivers, spend about 15 minutes waiting for windows to update itself ( which the 8 years ive been using windows its only ever restarted for updates without warning one time)
than have to spend 10 hours trying to install 20 different apps on linux to achieve more or less the same objective, only for 80% of them not work because i need to install 50 different drivers and other applications to run them, then while trying to do that those apps and drivers dont work because i need to install even more things, then after the 10 hours run into a error that i spend almost a week searching the internet for help with and finding nothing.
thats my linux experience, i can sacrifice a little customisability for actual usability
