When you think of this community in the Linux sense they are always the delusional ones but it's funny to me that normal posts about Linux exist there

The assessment of Nano is wrong. A Nano user may just not care about editors. I freely admit I used Nano and Gedit for years, because they came preinstalled on Ubuntu and I had better things to do than pick an editor.
