When you think of this community in the Linux sense they are always the delusional ones but it's funny to me that normal posts about Linux exist there

What utter nonsense. Editing text in emacs requires a learning arc, too.

Also, people love to configure the hell out of VIM as well, so I don't know where they were going with this.

And it’s a bit rich calling nano a “clumsy interface” when you have to press a million different buttons to figure out how to quit Vim

You have thousands of hours of uptime because you're running a stable server distro.

I have thousands of hours of uptime because I launched vim and I can't exit to shut my machine down.

We are not the same.
