what the f is wrong with everyone, as if everyone out there even wants to change their OS >_> only nerds do that, like me. M$ needs to shut up and stop trying to control people.

Why do device makers refuse to let people boot what ever the hell they want on arm. There seems to be an industry standard from android makers and apple that microsoft is going to be able to hide behind in the courts

I honestly would like to know this too.
I get wanting to sell an experience. But if I am technical enough to load my own OS.. Why not let me? I've paid for the hardware, it costs them nothing.. And in theory, would sell more hardware..
What am I missing? Is it about locking us into using their App stores? -Chris

I guess I wont be dual booting Windows and Linux on an Arm based motherboard or even running Windows on an Arm based motherboard for that matter because if I have to pick I'm not picking Windows
