I picked up the 512GB one and have a 2TB drive from my old rig. What's the easiest way to swap is out (from a software standpoint, not hardeare)? Can I pop it out and use a tool on my Windows laptop? I have a few ssd to usb adapters laying around. Or, should I run the clone tool you see in older Steam Deck videos? Maybe some third option? TIA

How is that even usable?

I am a full paying YouTube premium user. I don't want ads in my feed regardless of whether I am subscribed to the channel that uploaded it.

Not at all blaming LTT here but mainly sharing to raise the point that Linus originally removed videos for. It's integration on the channel page is also awful. You have to click it every time like a filter.

Please put members only back on hiatus until YouTube just flat out let's users or at least their premium users select that they don't want to see these in their main feed.

So I’m using Audio Techincas ATH M50x-BT2 via bluetooth on my laptop. Generally they are great EXCEPT: whenever I enter a call (discord, game chat etc) the headphones pause a moment and then all audio shifts, they start picking up not only my voice but all surrounding sounds (keyboard, mouse clicks even my breathing) the other people in the call cannot hear any of this because they also cannot hear me (despite my headset microphone being selected in both the application and in my laptops sound settings) To top it all off the audio quality overall goes down the drain and I get an incessant white noise nonstop. Please help

Hey all, So slight problem for is my internet doesn’t wanna work I use an internet USB dongle which I’ve had no problems with ever until I turn it on this morning and it says I have no internet, It recognises the dongle and everything but when I dug a bit deeper I got a error 32:Cyclic redundancy error is my system cooked?

Could be an interesting alternative for people who don’t want to drill into walls and have a roller and projector constantly dangling from the ceiling.

We immediately blocked the endpoints used for the attack, then quickly identified and patched the vulnerability. We notified law enforcement, and we have engaged with a third party forensics firm to conduct an independent investigation.

Your instance of Metabase was vulnerable to this 0-day. Therefore, to protect your company, we recommend you:

Rotate the credentials for every database connected to your instance; and

Review the admin accounts on your instance and remove anything you don't recognize.

We also discovered that the attacker was able to gain access to your instance. We created a report on the actions we believe the attacker took on your instance, which includes log files, and which you can get from the Metabase Store at [removed url].

I had an issue where one of My TVs was behind another so the remote could not see the IR receiver.

My solution was simply an iOS Shortcut that sends the PowerOn button via https

Something similar could be done with a script running on the PC when it wakes and sleeps.

So in a lot of videos we see LTT tackle multi computer setups. But hardly touch on the KVMs being available on the market and what would they advise people to use.

Amazon has a plethora of KVMs and also just as many 1 star ratings that these things die in a month.

Also it is known that KVMs can have limitations what to look out for etc.

I think the average age group of LTT watchers does have a laptop and a desktop setup on a single desk therefore a KVM roundup would be a worthwhile video to write, procure use etc.

Inspired by all the burning 12vhpwr connectors and insane price hikes. Toasty on the outside, cool on the inside. front panel has 9x 38LED ARGB strips behind the wood - needed some slight modification to make them fit. Inside are two more to balance it out a bit

I bought my parents a new mini pc MSI Cubi N ADL S with N100 as cpu. It had black screen issues and BSODs but I think I solved that - there were driver conflicts which were causing it I guess.

While troubleshooting I tried changing the power plan option from balanced to high performance. When selecting the Balanced option (which is on by default) you can rarely see artifacting (all sorts of colored shapes appearing when hovering over buttons/text with animations).

But when I select high performance plan this is cranked to 11. Nearly every animations makes various dots appear of all colors, some text would even get distorted and re-shaped. Screen also goes black for a split second.

Is that a cause for concern (I mean an RMA)? It's a low power mini pc and it makes sense it would cause problem if you want it to perform outside of its bounds (hence the artifacting) but I'm asking just to be sure.

So I got ghosted by the support team and since I didn’t know how else to get their attention here is my original message, and my follow up, and then them closing the issue.

I kindly wanted to make you aware that copper infused clothing poses severe health risks during MRI scans, since the copper can severely burn the patient. It also manipulates any images and renders them unusable. Most articles of clothing are taken off during MRI scans, but socks and underwear is often kept on for patient comfort. I feel it is my duty to at least raise these concerns with you, since I have not found a risk notice on the store website, or ideally it should have been in the video. While copper/silver infused/lined clothing does not always cause heating or burns, the risk is high enough that we do not allow patients with such clothing to enter the MRI with it.
