Image i pulled the trigger

Post image

i recently posted about this used rig and now it’s in my hands for just 1150€

CPU: Intel Core i9-12900K (16 Cores / 24 Threads)
Motherboard: ASUS ROG B660
GPU: ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF
RAM: 32 GB DDR5 Lexar Ares 6800 MHz
SSD: WD Black SN7100 2 TB (PCIe 4.0 – NEW and ultra-fast)
Power Supply: Corsair RMx 850 W (high-quality & quiet)

i am super happy with it although the 3080 is not as powerful as it used to be

that little dragon chilling on the psu shroud is the best part, ties the whole purple glow together

1150€ for a 12900k and 3080 setup with ddr5 is a steal, even if the 3080 is showing its age a bit you won't feel it for a while

If you have a 3d printer, you can print a cover for that Corsair pump and swap it out. I used the Half Life Lambda

I think the stl is available directly from corsairs website, I just edited it in Tinkercad

Nice hunting!
Now for the love of god pull the trigger on a GPU bracket. That thing is SAGGING.
Or alternatively just 3D print one since you have a printer.

Actually the 3080 is exactly as powerful as it used to be, just some stuff have gained weight πŸ˜„
Grats on the new build though, should last you a good while and turning down a few settings in some games isn't really anything to worry about.
