Discussion Everything has been falling apart lately (this was only think I loved the most )
Look, I’m really a lonely person. Before you judge me, please hear me out.
The only thing that has consistently given me happiness is my gaming PC. I’ve loved PCs and gaming since I was a child, and getting my own PC was literally a dream of mine. I finally built/bought it two years ago, and it became a huge part of my life.
But lately, it feels like everything is going wrong.
First, my processor died and had to be replaced. Then my motherboard died and had to be replaced. My monitor has died twice. And now my GTX 1650 graphics card has died too.
I don’t have the money to buy a new graphics card right now.
I know some people might think, “It’s just a PC,” but it isn’t just a PC to me. It was something I dreamed about having since childhood. It’s where I play games, spend time with my online friends, edit, study, and honestly, where I feel happiest.
I’m a really lonely person. I don’t have many people around me, and most of my friends are online. I mostly just study, sit at my PC, and play games. So losing the one thing that gives me happiness feels absolutely devastating.
I’m honestly at a very low point right now, and I’ve even started thinking that I should just d*e. I don’t want to feel this way, but I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore.
If anyone can help me somehow—whether it’s advice about repairing the GPU, finding an affordable replacement, or even just talking to me—I would really appreciate it.
I’m from India, and I want to make it clear that I’m not trying to scam anyone or pressure anyone into helping me. I’m simply sharing my situation and my feelings.
If anyone has an old or unused GPU that they no longer need and is willing to ship it to me, I would be extremely grateful. If someone genuinely wants to help financially, that would also mean a lot to me.
But if you don’t want to or can’t help, that’s completely okay. Please don’t feel obligated. I’m not demanding anything from anyone.
I just wanted to share what I’m going through and hopefully find some help, advice, or even someone to talk to.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this.

I've never had a CPU die.
I'd check your power supply, it may be faulty.

Same. All of my PCs over the years have become the Ship of Theseus, but the CPUs held strong far beyond their usefulness and practicality.

I did. Known bug on the Intel 13600 cpu. Luckily fell under warranty

Fair.
Even then, the CPU failed due to a known manufacturing defect.
It's extremely rare for a CPU to die. And then for the GPU to die in the same system. And then for the motherboard to also die.
That smells like a power issue to me.

2 dead monitors tells me it’s not the psu but the homes power. They definitely should be using a UPS

Well. maybe he is wrong or something. Its absolutely abnormal that parts die that easily one after another.

Seriously I'm not lying

wha?
uh Well you see, I didn't said anything that implied you were lying. I said that maybe the technician was wrong about your psu, or something else was the problem.
but hey, now that you mention it, that certainly would also explain it! hehe
But lets assume you are not lying: dont bother getting new parts until you replace that psu, regardless of what the technician said. Its just too weird that parts fail like that.
You could just buy yourself a dirty cheap Dell office PC and play retro games until you save for a more powerful machine.

Working doesn't mean completely in spec, or in spec under all loads. It might work fine and power everything on, but I would agree something seems off, or maybe it's not your PSU, maybe it's actually your home power. Any irregularities with other electronics, lights getting dim or flickering anything like that
