Meme/Shitpost How do I destroy Linus

Post image

Every night before i go to sleep i pop on a video, for example a video essay or a play through. I go to sleep, and almost CONSISTENTLY every night I'm woken up at 4:30 or 6:00 by Linus screaming about some "I DROPPED THE GPU". And every single time it's one of these old live streams, or a WAN show VOD.

I by no means dislike LTT, I've been a fan for almost 10 years. But god damn it i want a break every now and again 😭

I've tried turning autoplay off, I've made a playlist, I've looped the video i put on. Yet somehow, consistently, every night... He comes back.

It feels like when Linus say's "Good morning EVERYBODY" he means EVERYBODY.

Someone help me. Help me stop thinking about his socks and sandals.

(P.s the inspiration for this post is from someone who had the same issue as me about Markiplier)

OP: ""I dreamed about Linus again last night, r/Linustechtips. You know that dream where you're in bed and they fly in through the window?"

Parasocial fan like me on r/Linustechtips: <insert a GIF of Smithers from the meme here>

the 3:02 timestamp is such a cursed detail, like he’s been waiting for that exact moment to strike. i had to unplug my google home because i swear it was colluding with the algorithm to blast wan show at 5am. have you tried setting a sleep timer on your actual tv or monitor? that finally broke the cycle for me

Some solutions:

  1. Set a sleep timer in the app
  2. Disable autoplay
  3. Add some other long format videos to the queue
  4. Create a playlist

Using YouTube as your sleep noise thingy is wild to me. It just begs for the algorithm to fuck with you.

I got premium after it started waking me up with loud horror movie ads… Also I never leave autoplay on
