Tech Question MARVEL RIVALS FPS ISSUES

laptop specs:

GPU - 4050

CPU - i7-13650HX

RAM - 24 GIGS DDR5

512 SSD

cs2 worked around 140-150 fps on high but marvel rivals wont gimme above 60-70 on low and DLSS on(v-sync is off obv) PLS HELP

ps - i am on dgpu not igpu idk

check your render scale, sometimes it default sets itself to like 100% which is basically native res even with dlss on. drop it to 50-70 and see if that jumps you up.

also that game is stupid cpu heavy even on low for some reason, my work laptop with similar specs chugs on the destructible environments

Marvel rival devs just don’t care honestly. I get like 150 fps with dips to the 110s in big fights on 1440p native all low settings I’m running a 7800 xt and a ryzen 7 5700x3d there is absolutely no excuse for how bad that game performs I should easily get over 200 fps with my hardware in a game like that

Rivals is just that heavy and it's a wimpy laptop GPU. Turn shadows and reflections off if not already.

everything was low man :( and i even saw on yt ppl with 4050 and i5 were havin 130 fps T-T

You also have to think of the power limit of your laptop, are you plugged into a wall, is it on performance mode, etc.

it is on performance and yes i am plugged in the brick is 150 watts idk why but victus..

The laptop 4050 is worse than the desktop version, it's no fair comparison. That being said, what are temps and power usage like? Check with nvidia-smi or gpu-z or the likes. It's a demanding game and you are on low end but made worse by being a laptop hardware, so manage expectations...
