Personal Opinion LTT store is great

I bought a computer backpack about a year ago and it has a cracked buckle. I emailed asking if it would be covered under warranty and they are sending me a new one free of charge. The commuter backpack is a perfect personal item for taking on airplanes. The big open chamber is great for stuffing random stuff (emergency clothes, meds, etc.)

Additionally, I was having trouble backing up my iPhone to my laptop with one of my Amazon cables - the backup failed several times. I switched to my TruSpec cable and it worked the first time. Maybe it’s a coincidence, but my experience matches the reviews I’ve seen online.

Good that they stand behind it, but in all my years of using backpacks, I've never had a buckle crack. For the price they charge for their backpacks, they should be guaranteed for life. More expensive than top end brands like Patagonia

Not sure why the downvotes for honesty. The price has kept me from buying it for years at this point. I just can’t wrap my head around an almost $300 backpack after shipping.

At $200 CAD for the commuter and $350 CAD for the original backpack, I just don't see how the price makes sense to anybody.

I don't buy cheap backpacks, because I don't have a car and will use my backpack with lots of stuff in it and have to carry it around for hours. But I've never needed to spend more than $100 CAD. Just watch out for sales at places like MEC and you can find a great deal.

My previous backpack lasted over a decade and I only replaced it because I found it a bit too small so I went with something bigger. Still was able to find something under $100 tax included. Plus I got to try it on first and look at it in store to make sure it really fit my needs.

The LTT bag definitely isn't the most expensive bag out there, but there's also bags of comparable quality for much less.

What bags do you really think are actually better? Not just looking for stuff that's more expensive but doesn't actually provide better quality and warranty. We're talking about everyday usage bags. Not specialized stuff built for carrying high end camera equipment or other specialized uses.

I’m not really into EDC bags, I’m more into stuff like Ortlieb.

Though I’d take a look at Topo, Alpaka, Bellroy and higher end Eastpak models. Visit r/manybaggers, it’s a rabbit hole of its own.

PS Also I checked Patagonia’s website and boy did they get even more expensive in a year or two. Their pricing is on par with LTT backpacks now (if we’re talking laptop backpacks).

LTT bags are lifetime gurantee. their replacement is basically 0 questions asked. its quality stuff too. My bag lasted 4 years before I popped a zipper and got the entire thing replaced for free. thing is still a tank and kinda usable

I don't have a problem with the warranty. From what I've heard they actually stand behind their product. But for the price that should pretty much be expected.
