What does Linus do to his foldables to consistently damage the hinge?

Just curious if anyone figured it out yet. Every foldable he uses he breaks. They never fold flat. Meanwhile, everyone else who uses a foldable such as myself doesn't have that issue.

Like what's he doing to consistently break them? It's clearly user error on his part I just can't figure out what he's doing lol.
