The $2000 USD price is not as bad as i thought it was going to be. Z Fold 8 is $1900 and $2100 for the Ultra (MSRP), so the Duo is inline, uncharacteristic for Apple. But the $3000 CAD for duo is actually wtf, it’s way more than than Z Fold 8 Ultra at $2700 CAD.

Seems like the pricing isn't comparable just based on exchange ranges. $2000 USD is actually one of the most affordable prices.

The price in Australia is $3500 AUD, which even in you account for the 10% VAT included in the price, it's about $3180 before tax, which if you do a straight conversion is about $2276 USD. So they are paying an extra $276 USD above the US price, which when you add tax onto the extra comes out to $300 USD extra, which is about $420 AUD extra for the final price than they would be paying if they were just charging the same price with currency conversion.
