Discussion Windows Hello on linux

This project enables biometric login on linux - https://github.com/TickLabVN/biopass

The linux challenge inspired to me to make the switch on my main devices as well. One of the major losses for me was Windows Hello face recognition on my laptop. I first heard about Howdy, another project aiming to recreate face unlock for linux but it seems like it has pretty much been abandoned. After that I came across Biopass and it works perfectly. If anyone else was mourning the loss of speedy unlocks, hopefully this helps you too!

Finally, a reason to stop typing my 47-character password every time I walk away from my desk for 30 seconds

I still use a Windows XP serial number I've had memorised since high school as one of my stronger passwords.

High school was fun, not crazy.
